| Seer is a finger and ping utility that detects when you are online and constantly monitors up to 30 servers you are responsible for, letting you know when they are offline. It can be configured to run transparently in the background without disturbing your work, and only notifying you when necessary.

This little application is quite ingenius. I especially enjoyed the functionality and customization - it's everything you would need from a standard finger and ping utility!
Additional Requirements: This program also requires Winsock 2+, which is standard on Windows 98 and NT (there is link from the Download page at the Seer site to the update for Windows 95).
